Dante` Giles Hall

Dante’ Giles Hall, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on October 28, 2023, at 32 years of age. Dante’ was born on November 28, 1990, to Leona and Roland Hall in Panama City, Florida. He spent his early years growing up in Panama City before moving to Jacksonville in 2002 with his family at the age of 11. Dante’ graduated from Fleming Island High School and attended Florida State College at Jacksonville. Dante’ worked in the medical marijuana industry, working his way up to Extraction Manager. One of Dante’s greatest childhood passions was playing baseball. Dante’ had an inquisitive mind and was very mechanically inclined. He spent many hours tinkering with his beloved tools and fixing things for other people. He had so many interests from drawing and painting, anime, online gaming with friends, and building Gundam models with his best friend, Eric. He loved adventures, traveling, and exploring new cultures but not as much as he cherished being his nephew Riley’s special “gunk gunk.” Dante’s favorite holiday was Thanksgiving and he greatly relished food with family and friends. Dante’ was baptized on November 7, 1999, at First Baptist Church of Panama City. He obtained his Confirmation of Training at Fleming Island Presbyterian Church. Dante’ loved people and had a magical way of making them smile. He was a bright and shining light to all who knew him. We will miss his endearing smile, infectious laughter, heartfelt bear hugs, and his genuine love of life. There is no doubt he is in Heaven meeting up with old friends, making new ones, playing, and having fun. Dante’ will forever be in our hearts. Dante’ is survived by his cherished mother Leona Hall, father Roland (Melinda) Hall, brother Nicholas Hall, sister Rachel (Justin) Ploucher, nephew Riley Ploucher, maternal grandparents David and Kathy Cowart, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and long-time girlfriend Faith Skodmin, all who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Newton and Willie Hall. A celebration of Dante’s life will be held Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250. Visitation will be held from 10:30 – 11:00 a.m., followed by a celebration service at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to gather afterward at Main Event, to bowl and play arcades in commemoration of Dante’ In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dante`'s memory may be made to Daniels Kids, www.danielkids.org.
